WHAT IS OSTEOPATHY?

Osteopathy is not just bones! It is a hands on therapeutic medicine that treats the whole body.  Osteopathy recognises the integral connection between structure of the body and how it functions. And focuses on the way the skeleton, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, connective tissue, circulation, nerves and organs all work together to create health.

Osteopaths are primary health care practitioners trained to identify musculoskeletal dysfunction in your body using skilled evaluation and diagnostic techniques.  We also recognise conditions that require further medical referral.

In Australia, Osteopaths undergo a minimum five-year Bachelor and Masters university degree and must be registered with government body AHPRA.
