Dr Jodie Jacobs (Osteopath) Owner

B.App.Sc(Osteo), M.Ost

Jodie grew up in Melbourne and from her high school years, just knew she wanted to be an osteopath. From her own interest in how the body works and love of being active, she had a simple passion to help people keep moving throughout life.

Jodie studied osteopathy at University of Western Sydney and graduated in 2003. She then moved to Byron Bay in 2004 and continues to practice there.

Jodie now has over 19 years clinical experience, treating a wide range of patients with a variety of ailments.

Jodie’s treatment approach is largely structural but she uses a broad range of techniques to suit the patient and their individual needs. Jodie also provides education and advice on appropriate rehabilitation, lifestyle modifications, stress reduction, postural awareness and breathing to enable patients to understand and manage their own health and well-being.

Jodie regularly attends professional development seminars and has extended training in dry needling, cranial osteopathy, kinesiology taping, functional training, pregnancy and paediatrics.

As well as managing North Coast Osteopathy, Jodie is mother of two young girls. She tries to attend yoga or go surfing in her spare time!
